Meet Our Board
Ingrid Stafford
Ingrid Stafford is on the Wintrust Bank Board of Directors and served as audit chair from 2008 to 2020. She is also a trustee of the Evanston Alternative Opportunities Fund, an SEC-registered fund advised by Evanston Capital Management, and she serves on the investment and audit committees of the Evanston Community Foundation. She is currently a member of the advisory boards of YWCA Evanston/North Shore and Northlight Theater. She has been active as a volunteer in the Evanston community for more than 30 years.
Ingrid worked at Northwestern University in various capacities, most recently as senior advisor to the senior vice president for business and finance, for 42 years until her retirement in 2019. She has professional experience in audit, finance, enterprise risk, debt, and investment management. Ingrid has a Bachelor of Arts from Wittenberg University, a Master of Arts from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Management in finance and nonprofit management from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She is also involved with Wittenberg University and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
